Testimonials  (Accordion Course For Beginners) From Oldest to Newest    (Surnames Withheld)
Congratulations, I purchased the Beginners Course a couple of weeks ago and like all good books I just can't put it down.
The course does everything, (and more ) that you state in the description. Be assured that I will return, early in the New Year to Purchase the Intermediate. Again, many many thanks to you for having the foresight to recognize the needs of the beginner.
Regards, John
I am not 58, and stopped playing the accordion when I was 16. On Saturday I bought a used accordion and am anxious to get started again. I have started your lessons and they look great! DW.
Hi Enzo,
I'm very happy with your eBook. You are never to old to learn music (etc.).
I'm now on page 28 and it's very nice to hear the music from you and then to play as it belongs
The advanced eBook is near by I think.
Greetings from me, Jan and my wife Anne-Mieke.
Hello Enzo,
I received the eBook and it's very clear how to play.
And I did make a hard copy in color, it looks good. JW.
Hi, Item arrived safely this morning, I must state quicker than internal post. (posted Monday, arrived Friday)
I will be back in due time to purchase the Intermediate Course. 5 star de-lux service. I will leave positive feed back.
regards, John H.
Hi Enzo
Thank you for your reply. I have now downloaded the files using the attached links and all appears to be in order, I haven't had time to use it yet. Re the disc if you would not mind sending me another that would be great. The reason I opted to purchase the disc was to have a back up in case something happened to my computer. Many thanks for your back up Enzo its been great, all I have to do now is learn how to play the instrument . Regards Peter M.
Hi Enzo
I am up and running and at 55 years of age I am amazed what is coming back to me.
I am enjoying doing the exercises with you - really great.  Even though the music will take a little doing for me, but I don't lie down when it comes to trying. Sometimes these mid life crisis can bring a little joy. Jimmy
Hi Enzo,
Congratulation for this fine work of your Accordion Course for Beginners E-Book. I enjoyed this course very much for its ease of use, it gave me an opportunity to develop skills I didn't know I could do. Time is pressures and again this course provided me with the freedom to learn at my pace. I want to spread the word of appreciation on your website for this excellent course offer of yours and thank you very much.
I am very much interested to continue. Please inform me when your intermediate and advanced accordion courses -E-Books are available.
I am looking forward to hear from you. Kind regards Rolf
Dear Enzo
I'm so excited - I just ordered your eBook and can't wait to download and try it out! I grew up with accordion music and I was so pleased when my sister in law lent me hers (after sitting in the closet for more than 25 years). I've been asking friends who are accomplished accordionists for pointers, but they only tell me to look in a mirror while playing... hmmm... so, I'm supposed to watch myself play with bad form? There's got to be more to it! Thanks again for offering this! Alison
Dear Enzo Giribaldi:
Thanks a lot for your e-mail and the download package. All is due to my mistake in writing out my e-mail address (which I have not used often)!!
I never expected your reaction so fast!! Am showing a sign of age, I guess.
Thank you once again, and with best regards, Takao
Dear Enzo,
I'm very impressed with the piano accordian course. What a terrific and innovative way of teaching .It's great to look at the videos to check if we're playing correctly.  It's good how we can get such a close up view of your finger technique. I presume the course is similar to the way you teach your students but not necessarily with videos . I've had bit of experience playing the accordian and I'm glad I had been using the correct fingers for left hand . I just want to make sure I get my technique and timing correct, and also the correct use of the bellows .
It's great that someone with your talent and experience has written the course and being Australian too. I was intrigued by your story about how you continued your studies with Maestro Dante Simonelli who had later emigrated to Australia too, that was a coincidence and certainly a bonus for you. It says a lot about Australia Thank you for your time.
Yours Sincerely , Fraser
Hi Enzo,
Many thanks for the quick reply, I have saved these links for when I am more proficient. I have stared on the beginners Ebook and have found it excellent, Paul

About The Author)

About The Author  (Back to top)

Enzo Giribaldi

Enzo began learning to play the accordion from the age of five years old from the local parish priest in a small northern Italian town. He soon was introduced to formal lessons from Maestro Carlo Ferrero.

Enzo won his first competition when he was six years old. At the age of nine years old his family emigrated to Australia where he continued his studies with a German teacher, Otto Weiss located in Sydney.

At the age of 17 years old he continued his studies with Maestro Dante Simonelli who had also emigrated to Australia. Maestro Simonelli had produced Italian and World Champions and under his tutoring Enzo improved immensely, so much so that he was destined to become one of the best accordionists in Australia.

Maestro Simonelli was not only a great teacher of accordion but was himself a world class accordionist who was a close friend of the great Gervasio Marcosignori. Enzo was fortunate to have met Marcosignori during his frequent tours of Australia and in fact was invited by Marcosignori to take part in the tour as a support artist.

Aged twenty, Enzo began to teach accordion under the supervision of Maestro Simonelli. During this time Enzo had been playing in Australia’s largest Italian club, Club Marconi with his quartet. Enzo also completed a Theory of Music course at the Conservatorium of Music - Sydney.

Aged twenty four Enzo opened his first music school and in a short time he had a total of  four music schools with twenty two teachers working for him teaching about 600 students of which about half were learning the accordion. During this time Enzo produced local, state and Australian champions.

The reason for his teaching success was that Enzo invented new teaching techniques which helped his students learn quicker and at the same time making the learning experience pleasant and enjoyable. He basically broke away from traditional teaching which was too stringent and lacked the "fun" in learning an instrument.

To list all his achievements would be too lengthy, but one achievement Enzo is very proud of is that his dance band was nominated for Australia’s most prestigious award, (The Australian Entertainment ‘MO’ Awards) in the category of  "Best Accompanying Band Category" no less than SIX times in consecutive years, winning the award TWICE! What was special about Enzo’s win was that no other band before or since had won the award with an ACCORDIONIST as the band leader!

Enzo Giribaldi’s "Accordion Course for Beginners"  and the "Accordion Intermediate Course" is to our knowledge, the only accordion eBooks available today!

In his books Enzo puts his immense experience in teaching and playing the accordion to the fore.

Unlike other authors, Enzo can be heard playing the exercises and also includes some of his favorite tunes for the student to listen to. This is both designed to inspire students and also to reinforce the ability and credibility of the author.

Hear Enzo play a Strauss Medley - (One Man Band) - Download the file (mp3) now.

Do you need a
Music Stand?

You can indeed print a hard copy of the eBook preferably in color. However in order to hear and view the audio and video files your computer screen is required.

An eBook reader may be a software program used on a personal computer or a portable reading device. You will require the Free Adobe Acrobat Reader. (Downloadable from www.adobe.com)

A computer screen is an ideal way of viewing an eBook such as the Accordion Course For Beginners eBook and the Intermediate eBook.

You can:

  • Scroll from one lesson to the other.
  • Hear each exercise over and over  .
  • View the many videos over and over.
  • View the color coding.

Below are some SAMPLE PAGES (From the Accordion Lessons Intermediate  Part One eBook)

The eBook has many audio and video files.

These can be seen and/or heard by clicking on the.....

Lesson  Icon

The following sample pages are taken from the  Accordion Lessons Intermediate Part One eBook.

(The Lesson Icons on this web page are not active.)

The Lesson Icon.

Click on the Lesson Icon in the Speed Drill. (This is not a video clip it's a sound file.)

Your Windows Media Player will open and you will only be able to hear the exercise.

This is somewhat different to what happens in the eBook.

In the eBook most of the clips are videos and the pop up window will be placed on the top left hand corner of your screen so as the rest of the page can be seen.

Open your Windows Media Player and minimize it and make it as small as possible.

Click on the Speed Drill Lesson Icon and your Windows Media Player should play the exercise.

Of course this will ALL happen automatically in my eBooks and the pop up window WILL NOT  disappear from your screen as you scroll down the page in order to follow the song or exercise.

This lesson shows how to play the C Major scale in three easy steps.

Each step has a Lesson Icon video clip which shows exactly how it is played.

As you can see. The color coding used, helps to associate the bass buttons with the actual written notes.

Color coding is used in this example and throughout the eBooks to further assist the student in  understanding the lessons.

This lesson shows how to play a Bass Solo.

Each lesson has a Lesson Icon video clip which shows exactly how it is played.

This lesson shows how to play a Fun Thing which when you first see and hear it, you will want to play over and over again. It is designed to strengthen the playing of Counterbasses.

This lesson shows how to play a rock 'n' roll twelve bar blues bass pattern and you will want to do it over and over thereby mastering the use of the left.

In this page the student is alerted to the playing of "alternate basses" which was learnt in previous lessons in the eBook.

Reminders of this kind are found throughout the eBook.

Although there is a complete set of lessons and exercises that deal with "diminished chords", the student is shown further examples and given further information.

In this example you can see the use of color coding in order to clearly show the instructions.

In this example TWO lesson icons further assist the student by actually seeing and hearing the video clip and thus allowing the student to observe how it's actually done.
